August 26th 2019, I attended my first session for CT Sirens. I was working with CT Sirens model Amanda. Amanda was the perfect first session for me as she was just starting to get back into modeling and I was just starting out with the Sirens and learning the different styles and ways people were looking for, for their sessions. We started out simple at Rocky Neck State Beach. It was a beautiful day, plenty of sunshine and not to many people around on the beach in the sand. As we were walking to get the perfect lighting we came across the tall grass area where I instantly wanted to work with some new focusing techniques I had learned.
We continued to play around with different poses and focus settings, seeing which one worked best. Attached are some of my personal favorites from when we were shooting in this one spot on the location. It was great to shoot mostly candid poses as both Amanda and myself were just getting the hang of the session type.
As the session continued we tried a few different areas and even a few different poses ( and yes, some of them failed majorly but we still had a great time and we capture a lot of good images. As a normal session would go when you book with me, I would try and capture candid moments as well as the posed moments because sometimes candid shots honestly just come out better than the planned ones. Here's one for example.

As we continued into golden hour, we decided to work on a few other poses I found on Pinterest. (I'll be honest, I find a lot of my poses on there because there are some very awesome ones!) I love the ways the ones of Amanda laying down came out and how serious her eyes look!
